Now that the Class rules allow this, has anyone rigged their boat in this way?
Could someone post a guide or some pictures please.
Many thanks

There are several methods that you can use, one is to thread the jib sheets through the jib clew and back to the deck block, this only works if the hole is big enough for 2 ropes to run through. Another method is to tie sail rings to the jib clew, either Holt 156 or 256 should do (i can't remember which size we use) and then run the jib sheets through these and then tie the sheets of at the deck block. You can tie blocks to the jib, but this will mark the mast over time unless protected.

I will take some photos of what we have on our Spice for you and put on the Spice website (www.spice-sailing.co.uk) for you to view, this should make it a lot clearer than my explanation!!

Stuart.
