The Buzz Class Association has aquired a set of training sails. We have a main with a reefing point just below lower batten and jib both in dacron/polyester. These are available for novice crews who want to sail in moderate winds without the risk of being thrown through the much more expensive 'plastic' sails. We are also trying to source a smaller volume kite for exactly the same reason.
Anybody interested in borrowing these training sails should contact me. |

Hi Roger, A couple of junior cadets in my club are looking for a boat to grow into and the Buzz suits them nicely, but we all think a reef'able sail would be a good idea. May I ask where you aquired the sails? |

Hi Tony,
I think Roger got hold of the training sails second hand from someone.
Andy at Wet and Windy can supply training sails, but to be sure give Wet and Windy a call - 01179 669582

I tried W&W but £475 for training sails is a little beyond their budget. If anyone here's of a cheaper set please let me know. Thanks |
