Up to now I was using a Sobstad Ecole spinnaker (of around 14 sqm). The length between the head and the pole eyelet is around 665 cm (~262 inches).
I intend to use now a normal spin (17.4 sqm) - having a length of 680 cm (~268 inches) between the head (marked as H) and pole (marked as T) eyelet.
But I'm wondering if i have to change the Spin block located at the top of my mast. Today it is currently located at a distance of around 562 cm (~222inches) from the bottom of my mast. Is it the usual location or is it the one used for a Sobstad Ecole Spinnaker ?
Could a buzz owner measure its Spin block on his buzz mast starting from the bottom of the mast?

There should be no difference. Buzz 1110 here switched from Ecole to Normal spi without any other change. |
