I've registered our intention to enter on the above link, so . . . who else is coming along??
There is possibly a training day on the Friday for those interested too, keep checking the seperate message thread under Buzz events for more details and to register your interest.

Hi,
I may have a Buzz you can borrow, it would need insuring though.

Might be worth asking the committee if they'll let you start on the same line as the ISO's - there was an event last year (Langstone Asymmetric) where we had a Spice on the ISO start line and it worked out really well - PY's are pretty similar after all... |

The event details, ie cost, NOR and sailing instructions are on the Buzz site at http://www.bu22.co.uk/results/fixtures_results.htm
The cost is;
Entry fee £95. Entry fee includes 2 meals for helm and crew and entertainment for all those sailing. Entrance reduced to £80 for early entry (early entry by 11/8/2007).
James, I can get my buzz to herne bay for you as i live local and have a double trailer, prob best to contact me at bailey.stu@btinternet.com to work out details. I am at La Rochelle with the Buzz next week but can sort things out the following week if you are still interested in using it.

Julian here from Herne Bay Sailing Club.
Matt Hogben (Sailing Sec) is compiling a list of members at the club who will be willing to allow visitors to pitch a tent in their back gardens. If you are in need of a space, please e-mail Matt and he will put you in touch with these HBSC members. Matt will need to know how many you are in a tent and how big the tent is. matt.hogben@btinternet.com We have also gained permision from the council to allow Camper Vans on the promonade in front of the club. The only limiting factor is once there, they can't be moved for the entire weekend.
Thanks,
Julian ps. Sorry to Lloyd that I can still access the site using his boats name and number.

Julian,
If there is space to put a tent I would like to reserve one. Only a small tent, possibly needs a space 4m x 4m. Not sure who I am coming with yet and who else will be in the tent.

Ian, I can't issue you a tent place it might de-rail the well oiled machine, however, if you e-mail Matt Hogben (e-mail address above), he will add you to a list and put you in touch with garden owners who can put you up. You might end up in my garden or in my flat for that matter.... if yr' numbers up.... it's up! Thanks,
Julian |

Guys,
Just a reminder that if you don't get your entry in before 11th Aug the price goes up by 15 quid. Could do with a few more boats on the pre-registered list too...
Cheers,
Jim. |

Well the weather for the training day on Friday looks good!!! 12mph winds and 20deg c.
Will the high pressure keep away long enough for the nationals though!? |

I'll have my normal box of bits and pieces which normally includes an adhesive of some sort. I also have some of the protective stuff for the casing which is self adhesive, although not the proper stuff it works ok.
There is The Dinghy Store at Whitstable otherwise.
I'll also bring my spare undercover along.
