Hi Guys,
Sorry to say that I've sold my boat. ISO 511 hasn't got wet since the nationals last year so I made the difficult decision to sell up and buy a single-handed boat. One of the ISO guys (ISO 674 I think) at Calshot is planning to do a couple of open events this year and has offered me the crewing spot so with a bit of luck I'll see you all at some point in 2008.
Many thanks for all your help and advice over the last couple of years.
Jim.
P.S. 511 has gone to a new home in France (Morlaix). |

It is sad news Jim, but people move on.
Thanks for all your efforts towards the class.

A HUGE public thank-you for all your efforts in the ISO Publicity Officer slot. You have made a terrific contribution to promoting the ISO and Class Association in the Press and at events such as the Dinghy Show and Datchet on the water event.
It's always hard to find good people but you are an excellent example of a new commer to the Fleet getting stuck into the role and making your own mark on it.
Hope to see you in the "front" seat during 2008.
Very many thanks again from all of us.
Bob Ladell
PS - anyone want to take on this important role ???? Your Class needs YOU ............. |
