Hi All,

I have recently bought a new Buzz which came with a 'Rain and Sun' boat cover, which i am very impressed with, so i thought i'd tell you all!!

I hadn't heard of Rain and Sun covers, but they are a company based at Southampton and they make top and under covers. They can also make toe straps and foil bags if you provide the measurements. Their web address is http://www.rainandsun.co.uk/ where a full list of prices, etc are available, there is also a link on the Buzz links page.

I hope this is useful,

Stuart.

An update on covers supplied by http://www.rainandsun.co.uk/

I have recommended a few alterations to them to improve the spec further and hopefully make them the best available to us!! The amendments are;

- Cover made so that the back of the cover returns along the underneath of the hull for 3-4 inches. The original topper supplied covers did this which worked very well, this helps to prevent unwanted rodents making your boat their home!!

- A fixed bit of the strap material across the gap at the back of the cover by the rudder post so that it could be hooked onto the rudder pin to keep the cover in place, this helps to keep the cover tight and ensure water runs off

Rain and Sun were very happy to receive feedback and will make all future Buzz, ISO and Spice covers in this way.

Stuart.
